Assistant Project Engineer / Project Engineer

68 Systems & Project Engineering Pte Ltd, a member of Exeo Global Group, is looking for a Assistant Project Engineer / Project Engineer to support ongoing rail infrastructure works across multiple sites.

The role will mainly involve nightworks, daily site inspections, progress monitoring, safety checks, and coordination with site teams.

The candidate will be expected to travel to different sites during the night shift to monitor ongoing works and ensure that site activities are carried out safely, properly, and according to schedule.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily site inspections to monitor work progress, site safety, and work quality.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, workers, subcontractors, and main contractor representatives on daily site activities.
  • Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, risk assessments, permits, and project requirements.
  • Monitor manpower, site access, work areas, and daily work activities.
  • Identify and report site issues, safety concerns, access constraints, material shortages, or work delays.
  • Take site photos and provide daily progress updates to the Project Manager.
  • Follow up on outstanding works, defects, safety observations, and site instructions.
  • Assist with basic project documentation, records, permits, progress reports, and material requests.
  • Attend meetings, briefings, toolbox meetings, and site discussions when required.
  • Travel between MRT stations during night works to inspect and coordinate ongoing activities.
