Assistant Project Manager (Bilingual - Chinese/Korean)
Summary
The Assistant Project Manager supports construction project delivery through planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication. The role requires fluency in Chinese and Korean to facilitate technical interpretation and translation within a construction or engineering context.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the delivery of construction and projects across all phases. You will assist in planning, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project outcomes.
Project Support & Coordination
- Assist in the delivery of project management services throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking to support decision-making.
- Establish and maintain effective project documentation and reporting systems.
- Support the development and updating of detailed project plans and schedules.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project progress and performance indicators; prepare updates and reports.
- Manage change control processes and maintain accurate change logs.
- Draft formal progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings and produce accurate and timely meeting minutes.
- Support communication flow between internal and external teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in construction, design, or PCM (Project Construction Management) with a focus on technical interpretation and translation.
- Proven ability to perform technical interpretation and document translation between Korean and Chinese in a construction/engineering context.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
- Fluency in Chinese and Korean (written and spoken) is essential. English proficiency is a plus.
