ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary

You will oversee project quality and safety plans, ensuring compliance with ISO and OHSAS standards while managing schedules and progress reporting for construction projects, particularly in Singapore’s LTA/MRT sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project quality and safety plans to meet company and regulatory standards
• Monitor sub-contractor schedules to ensure timely project progress
• Ensure full compliance with company ISO and OHSAS requirements on all projects
• Update and alert the Project Manager on schedule delays and propose solutions to expedite progress
• Prepare and maintain scheduling programs with weekly and monthly updates
• Perform schedule monitoring and update construction schedules regularly
• Prepare periodic progress reports including commitments and forecasts
• Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with project management policies, procedures, and templates

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience managing Singapore construction projects, specifically LTA/MRT projects
• Minimum 5 years of experience in LTA/MRT projects
• Proficiency in English and experience using computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Ability to manage scheduling and planning for building works
• Professional experience in building projects
