Assistant Project Manager
Summary
The Assistant Project Manager supports the project manager in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects to ensure they meet budget, timeline, and safety requirements. The role involves coordinating with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project manager on project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations;
- Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of works on site to meet targets;
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors, such as Consultants and Sub-Contractors/Suppliers for the flawless execution of the project;
- Ensure project to be delivered on time, within scope and budget;
- Ensure project to be executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulations;
- Develop detailed planning to monitor and tract progress;
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
- Responsible for all construction site matters including and not limited safety and other compliance maters;
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree/Master in Civil Engineering or Project Management or relevant field;
- Proven at least 8 years of working experience in project management ;
- Steel Structure and metal works experience is a plus;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent team player with ability to meet deadlines.
