Assistant/Project Manager
Summary
The Assistant/Project Manager oversees industrial and commercial property projects from conceptual design through to completion. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, coordinating with authorities for approvals, and ensuring construction progress aligns with contractual requirements.
Job Summary:
· Assist in development of schematic design from design brief andconcept
· Plans and controls design work and changes
· Undertakes management supervisory responsibilities for assignedprojects from inception, conceptualisation, and design to project completion
· Monitors and manages execution of assigned projects throughregular review of status and progress from design to completion stages.
· Organise, plan and set targets for construction activities,review construction requirements and methodology, optimise resource allocationand perform tender evaluation
· Monitor construction progress against contractual requirementsand provide status updates for management reporting
· Track project budget, review variation orders, conductco-ordination meetings and site visits
· Evaluates progressive payment claims
· Ensure compliance for all Property Development relatedregulations with all relevant authorities
· Monitor the status of authorities’ clearances/approvals.
· Coordinate TOP, CSC application.
· Assists in post TOP /CSC processes including handover, formationof MCST etc
· Facilitate the finalization of Project Account and legalcompletion.
· Ensure timely update of project status, resolve issues andescalate where necessary
· Other duties as assigned by Director.
Requirements:
· Degree / relevant qualification in Architecture, ConstructionManagement, Civil & Structural, Engineering or a related discipline
· Minimum 4 years’ experience, preferably with real estatedeveloper or professional consultants
· Project experience in industrial and commercial propertyincluding design development, construction, technical coordination,architectural detailing for implementation and familiar with authoritysubmissions and approval procedures
· Familiar with local construction contracts (SIA, REDAS, etc)
