Job Description
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and overseeing construction projects from commencement to completion.
- Assist in monitoring project schedules, budgets, manpower and resources to ensure projects are completed within the required timeline and budget.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress and assist in ensuring construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, statutory requirements and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, tender submissions and project-related documentation.
- Assist in identifying and resolving site issues, delays and coordination matters in a timely manner.
- Prepare progress reports, project updates and other documentation for the Project Manager and senior management.
- Attend project meetings and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant parties.
- Monitor and evaluate construction processes and assist in implementing improvements to enhance project efficiency and productivity.
- Support the Project Manager in ensuring proper documentation, handover and completion of project works.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or management.
Requirements
· Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or equivalent.
· At least 2 – 4 years of experience in building construction or project management.
