ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Summary
Assists in managing construction projects by coordinating daily activities, tracking progress, and liaising with stakeholders while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating daily project activities.
- Monitor project progress and update work schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs and assist with budget control.
- Ensure work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Resolve site issues and support the Project Manager in decision-making.
- Track material delivery and manpower requirements.
- Attend site meetings and inspections.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
