Assistant Project Manager (Ref 26573)
Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of ELV and BMS greenfield projects, ensuring successful execution from planning through to completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones.
• Monitor and control project progress, ensuring deliverables meet timeline, quality, and scope requirements.
• Manage project financials, including Project cash flow tracking, Cost control and budgeting, Estimation at Completion (EAC)
• Prepare and present monthly project reports, including updates on Project schedule status, Cost performance and budget tracking, Key risks and mitigation actions
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage and respond to client and stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and financial risks.
• Oversee site execution activities, working closely with engineering teams to ensure proper implementation.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and project specifications.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in:
a) ELV systems (e.g. CCTV, access control, structured cabling, security systems)
b) BMS (Building Management Systems)
c) Large-scale infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in greenfield projects within complex environments.
• Knowledge of digitisation, smart building systems, or IoT integration
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project for scheduling and planning.
• Hands-on experience in Project cash flow management, Cost control and Estimation at Completion (EAC)
• Experience preparing and presenting monthly project reports for schedule and cost tracking.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, contract management, and site coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both external clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes project environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
