Assistant Project Manager (Site)

About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager (Site) to support the planning, coordination and execution of interior fit-out projects. The role will work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure works are carried out safely, on schedule and in accordance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day coordination and execution of interior fit-out works.
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor site progress against the project schedule and highlight delays or issues promptly.
• Review drawings and site requirements to ensure works are carried out according to approved specifications.
• Coordinate architectural, interior fit-out and related M&E works on site.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship and quality of completed works.
• Assist in resolving site coordination, technical and installation issues.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available according to the work programme.
• Maintain site documentation, progress records and reports.
• Attend site and coordination meetings as required.
• Ensure contractors and site personnel comply with safety requirements and site procedures.
• Support testing, inspections, defect rectification and project handover.
• Carry out other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, Building or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant site/project experience, preferably in interior fit-out works.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, site coordination and fit-out processes.
• Able to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Practical, hands-on and comfortable working in a site environment.
• Able to manage multiple site activities and work within project timelines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to read AutoCAD drawings would be an advantage.
• Willing to work outside normal working hours or on weekends when required by project/site schedules.
