Assistant Project Manager — Landed Residential Construction
TCA Design & Build is looking for a practical and responsible Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of landed residential projects in Singapore, including A&A, reconstruction and new-build houses.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with daily site coordination and execution.
- Coordinate workers, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Monitor construction progress, workmanship and manpower.
- Check site works against drawings, specifications and approved details.
- Identify site problems early and follow through on practical solutions.
- Arrange materials, quotations, deliveries and required site resources.
- Prepare progress updates, site records and work schedules.
- Attend meetings and follow up on decisions and outstanding matters.
- Support projects from structural works through architectural finishes and handover.
Requirements
- Experience in building construction, preferably landed residential projects in Singapore.
- Able to read architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
- Practical understanding of construction methods, sequencing and quality control.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Organised, responsible and proactive in resolving problems.
- Comfortable working primarily on site and travelling between projects.
- Diploma or degree in construction, architecture, engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Singapore construction experience is strongly preferred.
