Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager is a reliable individual who is eager to take on the responsibility of running their own property. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. We seek someone with a strong work ethic, confidence, and integrity. Top-notch administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills are also important, as the successful candidate will interact with members of the public looking for housing and also communicate with members of the corporate team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist with leasing, resident communication, and office operations
• Support rent collection, payment portals, and early delinquency follow-up
• Help prepare and track recertifications and compliance documents
• Maintain organized HUD/LIHTC files and Yardi uploads
• Coordinate resident events, resources, and service referrals
• Assist with reasonable accommodations and lease compliance
• Support reporting and documentation requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in affordable housing, resident services, property management, or related work experience
• Strong communication, organization, and rapport-building skills
• Knowledge of HUD/LIHTC programs preferred
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
• Proven experience in operating Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
