Assistant R&D engineer (IoT, Hardware)
About the role
This role involves leading electronics engineering projects from concept through to system implementation, encompassing literature review, project design, laboratory testing, PCB design, firmware programming, and system integration. You will debug high-speed electrical designs, characterize transceiver performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and factories.
Key responsibilities
Conduct literature review
Design projects and guide them from concept to system
Perform laboratory testing and analysis
Design PCBs and integrate systems
Program firmware using Arduino, STM32, and similar platforms
Debug high-speed electrical designs and characterize transceiver performance
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, customer-side teams, and factories
Oversee R&D projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders
About you
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline
Hands-on experience with tools like oscilloscopes and logic analysers
Proficiency in EasyEDA and SolidWorks/Fusion 360 (an advantage)
Programming skills in C/C++ and Python (preferred)
Experience in the IoT industry (preferred)
Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
Willing to travel occasionally to Mainland China or overseas
