Assistant Relationship Manager (Cash Management)

Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers in managing corporate banking client portfolios and delivering tailored cash management solutions.
  • Perform financial spreading and assist in credit analysis to prepare accurate client reports and documentation.
  • Respond to client enquiries and coordinate with local and overseas internal stakeholders to resolve operational and transactional issues promptly.
  • Conduct KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and periodic reviews in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in client onboarding, account maintenance, and review of client documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Research cash management products, cross-border payment solutions, and industry trends to identify and support new business opportunities.
  • Provide prompt support on transaction-related client enquiries regarding payments and cash management services.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and support ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Department Head.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Trade Finance, or Relationship Management support within a financial institution.
  • Proven ability to conduct KYC/CDD reviews and client servicing in compliance with regulatory standards.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in financial spreading and basic credit analysis.
  • Exposure to cash management products or transaction banking.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills demonstrated through effective coordination and client engagement.
  • Customer-focused problem-solving skills applied in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities proactively with attention to detail and teamwork.
