What You’ll Be Doing:
Relationship & Client Management
- Support Relationship Managers in maintaining and developing client relationships.
- Respond to client enquiries and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify potential business opportunities within the existing portfolio.
- Assist in cross-sell initiatives and customer engagement activities.
Credit & Portfolio Management
- Prepare credit proposals, credit memos, amendments, revalidations, extensions, and related documentation.
- Support industry and financial analysis for credit assessment purposes.
- Monitor portfolio documentation and ensure covenant compliance.
- Assist in portfolio reviews and ongoing credit monitoring.
Transaction & Operational Support
- Support transactional requirements including trade finance, term loans, remittances, and other lending facilities.
- Coordinate disbursements and documentation with Operations, Trade Finance, and related teams.
- Assist with account opening, profile updates, digital banking applications, authorization letters, and balance confirmations.
- Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day banking requirements for clients.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with Risk, Credit, Treasury, Legal, Operations, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate requests and documentation requirements to facilitate efficient turnaround times.
- Consolidate and submit reports to relevant departments when required.
Compliance & Governance
- Conduct required customer and credit-related checks including AECB and other internal verification processes.
- Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Support audit readiness and maintain accurate client and portfolio records.
- Ensure all activities comply with the Bank's governance and risk management frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
- MBA, CA, or CFA qualification would be an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, or a similar role.
- Experience supporting relationship management and credit-related activities.
Industry Exposure:
- Sound understanding of commercial banking products and services.
- Exposure to credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and portfolio management.
- Knowledge of local banking regulations, AML requirements, and Central Bank guidelines.
