Job Description

Job Summary

At The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi, we are looking for a dynamic and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. The role works closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, develop the team, and maintain consistently high standards of personalized service, quality, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service and consistently high standards.
  • Lead the team during service, providing direction, coaching, and hands-on operational support.
  • Build strong member relationships, recognize preferences, and ensure personalized and attentive dining experiences.
  • Manage member feedback and service recovery promptly, professionally, and with appropriate follow-up.
  • Coordinate closely with Culinary, Beverage, and other operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support workforce planning, reservations, table utilization, inventory, and overall operational readiness.
  • Contribute to revenue growth through upselling, cost awareness, productivity, and effective resource management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, licensing, and established Club standards.

Desired Skill & Expertise

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 4–6 years of restaurant or Food & Beverage experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity, preferably within private members clubs, luxury dining, or premium hospitality environments.
  • Strong leadership and team coaching skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Refined member engagement, communication, and service recovery capabilities.
  • Good commercial awareness with an understanding of revenue, cost control, and operational performance.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple service priorities.
  • Adaptable, composed, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to service excellence.
