Assistant Store Manager

We’re hiring an Assistant Store Manager to join a solid, long-standing team that takes pride in serving our neighbors every day. If you’re dependable, friendly, and motivated to make a difference in your community, we’d love to have you on board.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist Store Manager with oversight of the store operations
• Assist with hiring, supervising and working with team members to accomplish daily tasks
• Assist with training, supervision, scheduling and performance reviews
• Assist with inventory management to include ordering, receiving, and merchandising
• Assist with implementing sales strategies and promotional activities to drive sales
• Assist with proper documentation of sales transactions
• Operate register and handle transactions accurately according to company standards and policies
• Ensure team members adhere to regulatory requirements, safety standards and company policies
• Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and looking great
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store
• Provide friendly, caring, and honest service to every customer
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs.
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 lbs.
• Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
• Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands
