Job Summary:
This position is a Assistant Superintendent / Interim Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction & Equity effective February 1, 2027

Qualifications:

• Minimum Master's Degree.
• New Jersey School Administrator certification.
• Minimum ten years combined successful teaching, supervisory, or administrative experience.
• Demonstrated successful experience leading PreK–12 curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning at the school and/or district level.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design, implementation, alignment, and evaluation, including standards-based curriculum and research-based instructional practices.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate multiple measures of student achievement data into instructional priorities, improvement strategies, resource allocation, and professional learning.
• Documented evidence of measurable improvement in student outcomes resulting from instructional leadership, including achievement, academic growth, subgroup performance, graduation/readiness indicators, or other relevant academic measures.
• Demonstrated experience developing and monitoring district and school improvement plans with measurable goals, benchmarks, progress-monitoring protocols, and accountability structures.
• Knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, state assessment and accountability requirements, intervention systems, special populations, multilingual learners, and evidence-based instructional practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build the instructional leadership capacity of principals, supervisors, coaches, and teachers.
• Ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Salary Range
$117,000.to $174,000
