Oversees day-to-day operations of sports construction projects, coordinating crews, budgets, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Mammoth is growing and expanding and is looking to hire an “Assistant Superintendent” who will support the Traveling Superintendent in overseeing all phases of construction projects as they relate to sports construction, site and civil operations, building components, and self-perform.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with the supervision and coordination of site employees.
- Reviews timecards and requests for time off and provides information to the Superintendent for approval.
- Assists in preparing daily work schedules and assignments.
- Communicates and helps enforce safety procedures and site rules.
- Supports the development and execution of project schedules and cost-effective plans for completion of assigned projects.
- Assists project staff with preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
- Coordinates daily work activities under the direction of the Superintendent and communicates project instructions and assignments as appropriate.
- Inspects work for quality and timeliness; documents progress and reports concerns or recommended modifications to the Superintendent.
- Assists with communication among project stakeholders to help ensure specifications, zoning requirements, and regulations are met.
- Helps ensure specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are followed.
- Assists with required permits, licenses, inspections, and construction documentation.
- Tracks project costs and communicates potential budget variances to the Superintendent and project team.
- Maintains accurate records related to daily reports, costs, materials, equipment, and inventory.
- Reports safety violations, quality concerns, or other deficiencies and assists with corrective action.
- Supports communication with subcontractors, vendors, union representatives, and other project stakeholders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
