Assistant Tax Manager (MNC, Regional & Transfer Pricing)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage local and international tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes) by collaborating with external tax agents.
Coordinate with external agents to prepare and review the group's transfer pricing documentation and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) in line with OECD and local guidelines.
Prepare and review regular current and deferred tax provisions for both local and overseas business entities.
Act as the main point of contact for tax authorities during audits, investigations, or objections. Support annual statutory financial audits.
Review contracts and agreements to provide strategic tax advice on ad-hoc queries, and assist with special tax projects as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications like Accredited Tax Practitioner (Income Tax) are highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years focused on Transfer Pricing (ideally within a global MNC).
Exposure to US Tax and Group Tax. Strong familiarity with regional tax is a major advantage.
Thorough knowledge of US GAAP.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Oracle, HFM, and OA systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong presentation abilities, and a high commitment to quality work.
