Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote Safe Operations to both office staff and driver force.
• Scheduling both drivers & office staff (days, nights, wknds, holidays).
• Daily monitoring of dispatch function, fill in as Dispatcher when needed.
• Management of office staff members and drivers.
• Overseeing maintenance of inventory levels for several large accounts
• Assignment of equipment to driver force.
• Direct communication with customers regarding dispatch service.
• Responsible for Customer Care Program and compliance.
• Investigation of Customer Cargo Loss/Damage claims.
• On-call 24/7 for Terminal/Dispatch support.
• Working closely with the Terminal Manager regarding budgetary goals.
• Maintaining budgeted Driver vs. Truck ratio.
• Training of new dispatchers.
• Ensure proper communications between dispatchers and shift changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
• ATM position is expected to train for 6 mos and willing to relocate as a Terminal Manager within one of our network locations.
