Assistant Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily test operations to ensure product quality, yield, and production targets are achieved.
• Assist in test program setup, validation, and optimization for semiconductor devices.
• Troubleshoot test-related issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve performance.
• Analyze test data and generate reports to identify trends, defects, and improvement opportunities.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), qualification activities, and engineering change implementation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Process Engineering teams to improve test efficiency and product reliability.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities for yield and quality issues.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor testing, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor testing, test equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in semiconductor testing, IC testing or final test operations.
• Familiarity with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms and test methodologies.
• Willing to work in the East Region, Changi North Crescent.
