Assistant United States Attorney (Civil)

The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut is seeking applications for one Assistant United States Attorney to work in the office's Civil Division. The applicant selected will investigate and litigate civil and criminal asset forfeiture cases, and will also handle general civil litigation brought against the United States including immigration litigation. This position is located in New Haven, Bridgeport, or Hartford, Connecticut.

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Residency Requirements: Assistant United States Attorneys generally must reside in the district to which he or she is appointed or within 25 miles thereof.
