Assistant Vice President, Project Management
Summary
Oversee large-scale construction projects in Singapore, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery while managing contractors, vendors, and regulatory clearances.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive projects to ensure delivery within tight timelines, high quality, cost effectiveness and zero-accident safety record
- Take ownership to identify and resolve site technical problems
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as consultants/contractors/vendors/suppliers to achieve project deliverables
- Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities to manage submissions and obtaining the clearances necessary for project to progress swiftly
- Work closely with Head of Projects to proactively pre-empt and manage project issues
- Review and procurement of various contracts
- Prepare project’s periodic progress report for updating Senior Management
- Any other duties assigned
Requirements:
- Good degree in Architecture, C&S, M&E or Project Management with at least 15 years of relevant experience in the Singapore building industry
- Good track record of successfully delivering complex and challenging projects
- Strong construction management/hands-on site PM experience
- Demonstrated project leadership as PM-in charge
- Knowledgeable in project management processes for all stages of project lifecycle
- Resourceful and agile in driving projects to fruition
- Self-driven, ability to multi-task and comfortable with tight deadlines
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience or demonstrate willingness to utilize AI tools for project management
