Assistant Vice President/Senior Associate, Business Analyst, Institutional Banking Group Technology
Summary
The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions for the Institutional Banking Group Technology team. The role involves analyzing systems, managing project lifecycles, and facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to improve banking infrastructure.

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Job Objective
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Analyst to join our IBGT Customer Management and Lending team. In this role, you will be pivotal in strategically designing and mapping business requirements to technical solutions. You will assess existing systems and infrastructure to identify opportunities for upgrade and improvement, ensuring alignment with our evolving business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth system analyses on software programs, applications, and web services, identifying areas for efficiency and functionality improvement in collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
- Facilitate effective cross-regional communication by translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences, and vice versa.
- Oversee and ensure the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work, from initial reporting to management approval.
- Efficiently integrate new systems, programs, and applications with existing business operations and services.
- Analyze and enhance the performance of web-based customer portals and support services.
- Ensure end-user proficiency with new systems and applications across departments.
- Implement new advancements in system and enterprise architecture.
- Identify potential risks and dependencies related to proposed solutions and projects, and develop strategies for mitigation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Prior experience in customer onboarding, lending, digital, channel, payment, or AI within the banking industry is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail, able to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and liaise with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholders, including business users, development teams, and senior management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, business domains, and changing project priorities.
- Ability to contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights on technology capabilities and business opportunities.
