Summary
Oversee compliance and risk controls for a Thai financial services firm’s Specialized Asset Management Company (STAMC), ensuring adherence to regulations and mitigating compliance risks.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison with GC/CC in relation to all compliance related matters
- Oversee the execution of the Compliance Programmed within the department, in a robust and efficient manner
- Ensure the regulatory gap analysis is duly completed for the new and/or updated legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that every department within the Company department has a DCORO as deemed appropriate
- Proactively identify areas with ineffective controls and work with the relevant stakeholders to enhance overall control environment to mitigate compliance risk
- Ensure that all non-compliance incidents and deficiencies are appropriately reported
Strategy and Planning
- To control guidelines of the STAMC to be aligned with the overall objectives of the Company and Group
Business Performance and Management
- Provide feedback to STAMC teams on areas that require preventive.
People Management
- To work with Bank’s training to ensure relevant trainings are provided to staff
- Provide training/briefing to staff within Company
Regulatory Compliance
- Provide on-going compliance awareness briefing/training to staff within Company
- To ensure the team’s compliance with relevant rules and regulations as well laws
- To ensure regular review of the internal policy and procedure, SOP and guidelines to be aligned to the lates requirements.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Proven experience in Risk, Control, or Compliance specifically within an AMC or NPL environment.
- Solid, practical knowledge of Collections operations and related regulatory frameworks (e.g., Debt Collection Act).
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and proactive risk-mitigation skills.
