Assistant Vice President - Underwriting - General Insurance

Job Description:

- Underwriting of Liability proposals for various products and clients.

- Business development: Customer interaction for deal closures, Techno-marketing, Product Presentations etc.

- Channel Management: interface between Brokers and Customers - training and development of various Liability products.

- Coordination with other departments such as reinsurance, product specialists and accounts.

- Policy administration and documentation.

- Contribute in price review exercise at regular intervals through market benchmarking and identifying the areas for correction.

- Liaison with all stakeholders (Sales, IT, Operations, Legal and Compliance) for all Underwriting matters.

- Ensure 100% compliance with all regulatory and product approval related aspects.

- Work with IT and Operations staff to ensure that business requirements are met and that customers are provided with a high level of service.
