Assistant Wellness Director

Location: Dripping Springs, TX

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Wellness Director to join our team in Dripping Springs, TX. The ideal candidate will support the Wellness Director in planning, implementing, and managing wellness programs that promote healthy lifestyles and enhance the well-being of our community members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, coordination, and execution of wellness programs and activities.
• Collaborate with staff, community partners, and vendors to promote wellness initiatives.
• Support the Wellness Director in managing daily operations of the wellness center.
• Help monitor program effectiveness and collect data to evaluate outcomes.
• Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for wellness programs.
• Provide guidance and support to wellness staff and volunteers.
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and engagement.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in wellness and health promotion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in wellness program coordination or management is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and wellness program software.
• Passion for promoting health and wellness within the community.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain preferred.
