We are seeking an experienced Assisted Living Director/ Assistant Executive Director to help oversee daily operations within our senior living community. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is committed to delivering exceptional resident care, supporting team members, and ensuring operational excellence.

What You'll Do
Leadership & Operations

Assist with the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department and community care services.
Support, coach, and supervise nursing and caregiving team members.
Recruit, onboard, train, and retain quality staff.
Promote a positive, resident-centered culture focused on teamwork and accountability.
Support occupancy goals while ensuring appropriate levels of resident care.

Resident Care & Service Excellence

Protect resident dignity, privacy, rights, and confidentiality at all times.
Participate in the development, review, and implementation of resident service plans.
Ensure care plans are followed and resident needs are consistently met.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
Help create an engaging, welcoming environment that enhances residents' quality of life.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
Maintain accurate documentation and operational records.
Promote a safe, compliant, and high-quality care environment.
Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Financial & Administrative Support

Assist with departmental budgeting and expense management.
Support staffing and scheduling to meet resident needs efficiently.
Help analyze budget performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Contribute to community growth while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Serve in place of the Executive Director when they are away.

Qualifications
Required

Experience in Assisted Living, Senior Living, Long-Term Care, Healthcare, or a related field.
Experience supervising staff and supporting healthcare operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Knowledge of resident care practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
Passion for serving seniors and making a difference in their lives.

Preferred

Previous leadership experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, or Long-Term Care setting.
Experience with staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and operational oversight.
Experience working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
