Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance monitoring for servers and database instances to provide a comprehensive overview of health on-demand and historically
• Design, implement, maintain, and automate the appropriate backup and recovery architecture as required
• Develop and maintain database solutions, including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Automate and streamline database-related tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Database Administrator
• Proficient in database technologies such as MSSQL Server, NoSQL
• Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining backup and recovery strategies
• Familiarity with cluster-based setups, delayed replication, and other advanced database concepts
• Familiarity with Powershell, Bash, Python for automation purpose.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
