Roles & responsibilities:
The position in discussion is with the Property tax team in Indirect Tax Service line at KPMG Global Services (KGS). This role is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.:

•Prepare Business Personal Property Tax returns and reconciliations for KPMG US clients.
•
•Manage Assessment review and Tax bill payment process as per US State and Jurisdiction laws .
•
•Interact with US Tax authorities to seek the information / resolve issues related to value / tax.
•
•Deliver utmost quality work product within the timelines set by the US team.
•
•Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline workflow.
Educational qualifications
•Minimum master’s degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance
•Proficiency in MS excel.
•Understanding of Indirect taxes (0-2 years)
Work experience
•Total Experience- 0-2 years
•Relevant Experience- 0-2 years in Property Tax.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point).
•Exposure and understanding of US Indirect Tax and knowledge of Tax Regulations.
•Ability to work on more than one project at a time.
•Speak with appropriate speed and clarity to US engagement teams.
•Promptly respond to the issues or questions raised by the engagement team.
•Can take an active role in business discussions on tax technical topics, engagement management etc.
•Awareness of tax law changes.
