Job Summary
AECOM India is seeking talented Engineers for Civil Engineering practice. Candidates for the Senior Civil Engineer/Associate position should have experience in medium to large size projects such as cultural buildings, high rises, office buildings, airports, transit, health care and research facility design preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment. The Engineer will have to be self-starters and are required to work with only high-level direction and guidance from seniors on projects.
Responsibilities:
- 8-16 years of experience with projects similar in function, size and scope to the description above.
- Project experience in datacentre, commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, aviation sectors will be helpful.
- Undergraduate degree (master’s preferred) in Civil engineering/Hydraulics or related field.
- Knowledge on Site Grading Layouts, site development work, Design of Storm water drainage layouts, sanitary sewer system, Underground gravity drainages, chemical sewer system, tankage area layout, Asphalt and Concrete Road & RC Pavement and preparation of Road layouts.
- Knowledge on design of Electrical substation related structure and foundation.
- Knowledge of Indian codes is mandatory. Familiarity with US, BS, Eurocodes is a plus.
- Working knowledge of current industry software, including Sewer Gem, Water GEM, Civil 3D, Arc GIS and Hec RAS/ HEC-HMS
- Willingness for programming, macros & Excel design sheets is desirable, though not mandatory.
- Interest in working with Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Python coding will be a big plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Client communication and interaction skills will be preferred.
- Time management and people management skills will be valuable.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience with projects similar in function, size and scope to the description above.
- Experience in datacentre, commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial, aviation sectors is highly desirable.
- Undergraduate degree (master’s preferred) in Civil engineering/Hydraulics or related field.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination processes and multidisciplinary model reviews is an advantage.
- Knowledge on Site Grading Layouts, site development work, Design of Storm water drainage layouts, sanitary sewer system, chemical/effluent drainage system, tankage area layout, Asphalt and Concrete Road & RC Pavement
- Knowledge of Indian codes is mandatory. Familiarity with US, BS, Eurocodes is a plus.
