Your Impact
As an Associate Application Engineer, you will help turn customer needs into manufacturable solutions for some of the world’s most advanced data center infrastructure. Working alongside experienced Application Engineers, Sales, Product Management, and Manufacturing, you will support projects from initial design and quoting through customer approval and production release.
This is an opportunity for an early-career engineer to build deep technical experience across design, manufacturing, customer applications, and data center infrastructure in a fast-growing environment.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop functional designs, drawings, layouts, and technical documentation that address customer requirements
  • Partner with Application Engineers, Sales, and Solutions teams to translate customer needs into practical, manufacturable designs
  • Support infrastructure and containment projects using existing and new Accelevation product offerings
  • Create Bills of Materials, production drawings, cut optimization sheets, renderings, and other project documentation
  • Generate accurate quotes and proposals for customer projects
  • Incorporate Design for Manufacturing principles into designs and recommend solutions that improve manufacturability and installation
  • Participate in design reviews, pre-construction meetings, and project handoffs with internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and maintain part numbers, product data, and engineering documentation within the ERP system
  • Maintain accurate part lists, drawings, and CAD libraries
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing and Operations to resolve design questions and support successful production releases
  • Partner with Product Management on new product development, product improvements, and application of existing products
  • Support customer approvals and incorporate design revisions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to validate designs, perform site measurements, and support project requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
  • 0–2 years of engineering, design, manufacturing, internship, or related technical experience
  • Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and create engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across engineering, sales, manufacturing, and operations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
