Associate Attorney

The Atlanta, GA office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their thriving Litigation Practice. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and office, work and collaborate with experienced litigators, participate in case strategy and development, and interact with and develop firm clients.

Responsibilities:

Represent and defend clients in hearings, trials, and depositions
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare legal documents, and prepare and respond to discovery
Consult and counsel clients, effectively communicate on cases, providing consistent updates and comprehensive legal advice
Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and other team members in building and executing successful defense strategies

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience
Must be an active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
Experience taking/leading depositions and writing reports
Motivated in attending trial and applying litigation skills
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
Eagerness and ability to contribute to litigation strategies and work collaboratively with attorneys and clients in managing cases

Compensation:
Salary starts at $135,000, commensurate with experience, plus two bonus structures and a comprehensive benefits package
