Location:

Fully remote anywhere in the United States, with San Francisco, California serving as the role's home market. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and in good standing.

Note:

Active California Bar admission in good standing required. We are also looking for someone with a stable employment history who is interested in growing with one team and developing a long-term litigation career.

Job Description

  • Handle commercial and warranty litigation matters from case inception through resolution, trial, and appeal.
  • Conduct legal research and translate complex issues into clear, persuasive written work product.
  • Draft case evaluations, pleadings, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Propound and respond to written discovery and manage document discovery.
  • Prepare for, take, and defend fact and expert depositions as appropriate to experience level.
  • Prepare and argue motions in state and federal court as experience allows.
  • Work directly with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, and internal case teams.
  • Manage case development, investigation, deadlines, and regular reporting to supervising attorneys and clients.

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar membership in good standing.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities, and multiple active matters.
  • Strong client service mindset and collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable working with e-discovery, document management, and litigation technology.
  • Commercial litigation, warranty litigation, Song-Beverly, or comparable civil litigation experience is preferred.
  • Prior law firm experience is preferred.
  • Law school transcript and writing sample required with application.
