Associate - Business Analysis

To ensure an effective and smooth translation of customer needs into new initiatives, helping businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the Business requirements and communicating/present them clearly to stakeholders and technical team in addition to contribute on the design/review of test cases and process change requests

• Managing the activities of maintaining the CSI register, Initiative register and service review reports
• Identify key stakeholders to understand where and how the stakeholders will contribute to each initiative.
• Document any concerns and weaknesses as pain points in the CSI register to start managing their continual improvement lifecycle.
• Define and document existing business processes and help to manage their continual improvement.
• Categorize and define the impact of each of the pain points in order to come up with a prioritized list of issues to analyze and benchmark.
• Define specific initiatives aimed at improving the pain points, based on the results of process evaluations and analysis.
• Prioritize the initiatives based on their impact and urgency and obtain approval from key stakeholders to start the requirements elicitation process.
• Delivery of business improvement projects to agreed quality and time, ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and involved at all relevant stages.
• Validate the business outcomes with the key stakeholders, then re-evaluate and continuously monitor the applied changes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and deliver service improvement activity through employing process improvement methodologies.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
• Perform periodical reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
• Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in highly analytical roles (customs, consulting, investment banking, product analytics, etc.)

Behavioral Skills:

• Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
• A friendly professional demeanor and ability to excel in a team oriented environment
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel; Basic VB knowledge preferred
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to learn and adapt to change
