Job Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations (RFQs), price negotiation, purchase order processing, shipment coordination, and delivery follow-up.
Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) recommendations and procure materials, components, and equipment to support production needs.
Monitor and expedite supplier deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time and production schedules are met.
Oversee inventory levels by reviewing stock requirements and implementing inventory stocking policies established by management.
Coordinate with logistics providers on shipment arrangements, delivery status, and customs documentation for imports and exports.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, on-time delivery, competitive pricing, and effective inventory management.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, including vendor registration, purchasing database updates, and submission of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices to the Finance team.
Coordinate the return of defective or non-conforming materials (RMA/NCT) with suppliers.
Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying opportunities for procurement cost reduction.
Review and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate purchasing requirements.
Prepare and update weekly and monthly procurement reports.
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics or equivalent
Relevant experience in purchasing / procurement is an advantage.
