Associate Cancer Navigator (Part-Time)
Summary
Part-time role assisting cancer patients with administrative tasks, documentation, and home visits to improve their quality of life.
The Associate Cancer Navigator’s core duty is to assist the Cancer Navigator in providing care and support to cancer patients for their overall well-being and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in administrative duties.
- Gather information and documentation from clients and their families to assist them with financial assistance.
- Document case recordings according to support provided for the client
- Assist to advocate and create awareness for the needs of cancer patients
- Conduct regular check-ins and home visits to provide support required by the client, as instructed from cancer navigator
- Support the preparation and logistics required to run programs and support groups
Qualification And/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Service, Community Health
- Open to work with clients of various age groups (children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, older adults)
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel for home-visits
- Part-Time Working arrangements: 3 days – 4 days a week, 9am-5pm (may include weekends as required by supervisor if the need arises for outings, programs, support groups)
