Associate Clinical Social Worker

POSITION SUMMARY:

An Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) provides mental health services under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker. ACSW conducts assessments to understand clients' psychological and social needs and develops treatment plans. ACSW offers therapeutic services, such as individual, group, and family therapy, to help clients address mental health issues. ACSW also connects clients with community resources and support services, advocating on their behalf to ensure they receive appropriate care. ACSW maintains accurate and confidential client records, complying with ethical and regulatory standards. Additionally, ACSW participates in ongoing training and supervision to enhance their clinical skills and professional development.

• Evaluating clients' psychological, emotional, and social needs.
• Creating individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
• Offering individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Responding to clients in crisis situations and providing appropriate support.
• Advocating for clients to access necessary resources and services.
• Connecting clients with community resources and support services.
• Coordinating care and services for clients, ensuring continuity and comprehensiveness of care.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential client records and documentation.
• Ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, legal regulations, and organizational policies.
• Engaging in regular supervision with a licensed clinical social worker for guidance and professional development.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities.
• Working with other healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organizations to provide holistic care.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of clinical programs and services.
• Engaging in outreach activities to educate the community and raise awareness about mental health issues and available services.
