Summary
Assists with oil & gas project completions by preparing documentation, tracking deliverables, and supporting field teams to ensure projects meet specifications and close-out requirements.
Job Overview:
The Associate Completions Spec (OnsCon) utilizes existing Completions (OnsCon) procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to Completions (OnsCon) and Onshore Construction.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure project completions are executed in accordance with project plans and specifications
- Prepare and distribute timely, accurate, and compliant completion documentation, including field reports, punch lists, as-built drawings, and close-out reports
- Manage project close-out activities, including turnover packages, equipment tracking, and warranty management
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to project completions and close-out
- Participate in project review meetings and assist in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Typically, is vocationally qualified with limited work experience
- Understanding of industry standard completion practices and processes, including familiarization with applicable codes and standards
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, and experience in preparing and presenting technical documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and working knowledge of completion software is preferred
