About Us
Supertails is India's first 360° petcare brand — India's Biggest Online store for all pet essentials, online pharmacy, and now India's first fear-free certified veterinary clinics, all under one house.
Whatever pet parenting throws at you — a 2 AM worry, a fussy eater, a first vaccination — there's one brand to turn to, with in-house vets and doorstep delivery across India. We're built by pet parents, for pet parents: people who know the joy, the chaos and the responsibility of raising a pet, and show up for all three. Because with great pets, comes great responsibility :)
Who are we looking for?
Do you enjoy telling stories? You're it. We're looking for an early-career writer who can think crazy ideas for pets and pet parents within the guardrails of the brand, write something new for the brand every single day, and get sharper with every edit. Having fun on the job is also a must and non-negotiable. Also, a pet parent please? :)
Who is it for?
We're a team of creators: people who love their craft and the joy of creating something new, something cool, something they're proud of. Writers, designers, filmmakers and meme-scholars who'd rather make the thing than sit in a meeting about it. We're not a 9-to-5 corporate job — everyone here owns their ideas and sees them through to the end: from the first scribble to the final cut to the numbers it moved. The best idea in the room wins, no matter whose it is or how long they've been here. Nobody hands out briefs here, but everyone's briefs here are heard :)
Your mission should you choose to accept
- Think a lot about what pet parents would like
- Write UGC scripts, social media posts, witty captions and PNs — the stuff pet parents actually stop scrolling for
- Hold our voice in anything — a meme, a caption, a 35-character push title
- Maintain consistent Brand personality across multiple channels
- Spot and avoid thnigs lyk thise
- Collaborate with multiple teams internally to expedite the creative output of the marketing team
- Create tangible impact on the lives of pets and pet parents
- Be around pets a lot
- Have a lot of fun & eat a lot of snacks
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of copywriting/content writing experience
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- An eye for detail when it comes to punctuation, grammar, and spelling
- A knack for creativity, not just with words but also ideas
- Up to date on trends and news
- Understands the tonality needed to write for different audiences
- Experience with writing for different mediums and channels
- A portfolio or writing samples — published or not
