Associate DevOps Engineer - AWS

Job Overview

We are looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, containerization, and deployment automation. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of DevOps practices, particularly AWS infrastructure and Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), and be eager to learn and contribute to scalable cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Work with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications.
• Support Kubernetes workloads, deployments, services, and basic cluster operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Use Docker to build and manage containerized application environments.
• Assist in infrastructure automation using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and maintain system availability.
• Work with Linux environments, Git, and basic networking configurations.
• Follow cloud security best practices and collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
• Hands-on familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of EKS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and Bash or Python scripting.
• Understanding of networking, cloud security, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification is a plus.
• Exposure to Kubernetes cluster management and production deployments is an advantage.
