Associate DevOps Engineer - Big Entities
Summary
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (VPC, EC2, EKS, ELB), and automate operations with Docker and Kubernetes.
Our client Big Entities is hiring a Associate DevOps Engineer in Lahore.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and the software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of common challenges addressed by DevOps, such as deployment consistency, faster release cycles, and operational efficiency.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and Git-based workflows.
- Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, including:
- VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) and its networking concepts and benefits.
- EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) for hosting and managing applications.
- EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and basic Kubernetes concepts.
- ELB (Elastic Load Balancer) for traffic distribution and high availability.
Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line operations.
Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting concepts is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience & Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, System Administration, or a related technical role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications will be considered an advantag
