Key Responsibilities

Product & System Management

  • Oversee all aspects of product and system lifecycle management for foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodities products, including the documentation of relevant policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Conduct project planning, effort estimation, and coordination with traders and Sales teams, where required.
  • Participate in system development lifecycles and implement technological solutions to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.
  • Keep abreast of market demands and technology trends to drive innovation through collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with traders and Sales teams to understand and support the requirements of ongoing digitalisation initiatives.

Risk Control & Compliance

  • Monitor business and risk controls by collaborating with relevant stakeholders, including Treasury & Markets (T&M) Risk & Control Unit (RCU), Compliance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit, to identify, assess, review, and mitigate risk areas while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Act as the escalation point for operational issues and incidents, while driving process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead efforts to promote risk, control, and compliance awareness, and provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure adherence to applicable requirements and standards.

Business Data Compilation & Analysis

  • Compile, analyse, and interpret financial and business data to provide meaningful insights and reporting for management and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor financial data trends and investigate, validate, and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Finance, Treasury, and Operations teams.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional or postgraduate qualifications such as CFA, MBA, or PPKM licence will be an added advantage, but are not mandatory.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry.
  • Prior experience in business management, product management, or risk management roles is preferred.
  • Candidates with project management experience and/or a strong understanding of Treasury products and operations will have a distinct advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
