Associate Director, National & Regional Sales

This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing sales organization and accelerate growth across national corporate and group customer segments. You will own the strategy, talent, processes, and execution required to expand a nationwide B2B revenue engine. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on enterprise selling and senior-level relationship development. You will build scalable sales systems, establish strong performance rhythms, and personally influence high-value accounts. Working closely with revenue management, operations, marketing, and distribution teams, you will help align sales with broader commercial priorities. Accountabilities
- Design and execute national corporate and group sales strategies aligned with revenue, profitability, and broader commercial growth objectives.
- Build, lead, develop, and retain a high-performing sales team, including recruiting for key positions and establishing clear career and coaching pathways.
- Establish KPIs, performance expectations, accountability systems, forecasting routines, reporting cadences, and operating rhythms that drive consistent results.
- Lead regular pipeline, forecasting, and account review sessions with sales teams, operations, and senior leadership.
- Develop standardized processes for account targeting, prospecting, contracting, customer handoffs, and ongoing account management.
- Personally develop and secure strategic national corporate accounts that can generate significant recurring revenue.
- Engage with senior travel managers, travel management company leaders, project-based travel buyers, and enterprise corporate partners.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through stronger account penetration, improved sales productivity, and targeted market strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and productivity metrics, using data to identify gaps and refine commercial strategies.
- Partner with Revenue Management, Operations, Distribution, and Marketing to align sales priorities with market strategy, inventory expectations, pricing, and demand opportunities.
- Provide customer and market insights that can influence pricing, product development, distribution strategies, and expansion into new markets.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer meetings, and other strategic external engagements.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, motivation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of a scalable, technology-enabled commercial organization leveraging automation and AI.
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, with significant exposure to corporate, enterprise, or national accounts.
- Proven track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Demonstrated success acquiring, growing, and retaining national or enterprise corporate accounts.
- Strong experience establishing disciplined sales processes, forecasting methodologies, reporting structures, and performance management routines.
- Strong operational rigor and confidence using data and performance metrics to guide commercial decisions.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on commercial execution and revenue generation.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in high-growth, fast-paced, and technology-enabled environments.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence teams across multiple business functions.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, alternative accommodations, or related industries is advantageous.
- Group sales experience is a plus.
- Experience managing multi-market national or enterprise sales programs is highly valued.
- Understanding of revenue management principles and cross-functional commercial collaboration is beneficial.
- High level of ownership, accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Starting base salary of $140,000–$164,000, with eligibility for equity, bonuses, perks, benefits, and travel credits.
