Associate Director, Nexus, Investor Delivery

Summary

Oversee investor operations including onboarding, trade processing, reporting, and cash management while leading a team to ensure accuracy and client service excellence in a financial services environment.

Reporting to Senior Leadership, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Investor Operations team, ensuring investor onboarding, trade processing, reporting, and cash activities are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with internal policies and procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate quality control and risk management practices are in place, monitoring operational outputs, service levels, and the timely resolution of issues and exceptions.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive queries from clients, investors, fund managers, and internal departments, ensuring a high standard of client service.
  • Support and oversee client onboarding and integration activities, ensuring a professional and positive experience throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports through regular performance discussions, career development, and annual review processes, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, participating in service review meetings and supporting the client relationship management framework.
  • Drive departmental initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional projects while promoting MUFG's core values of Trust, Challenge & Empowerment, Passion for Clients, and Openness & Honesty.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in investor operations, transfer agency, fund administration, investor services, or a similar financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing teams in a client-focused operational environment.
  • Experience in transaction processing, cash management, reporting, and client servicing is very important.
  • Knowledge of investor lifecycle activities, including onboarding would be considered advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage client relationships and escalated issues.
