Your work profile

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Associate Director to lead enterprise virtualization, clustering and infrastructure platforms across large-scale environments.
• The role is responsible for strategy, architecture, transformation, governance and delivery for OVM, OLVM, VMware, Veritas InfoScale (VCS, VxVM, DMP) and Microsoft Failover Clustering solutions.
• OVM,OLVM, Vmware , high availability and clustering solutions using Veritas InfoScale (VCS, Volume Manager, DMP) and Microsoft Cluster Services (Windows Failover Clustering).

Virtualization Platform Leadership

• Lead architecture, implementation and lifecycle management of Oracle VM (OVM), Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) and VMware environments.
• Manage platform upgrades, migrations, patching and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure scalability, stability, performance and compliance.

Infrastructure Transformation & Delivery

• Lead enterprise-wide virtualization and infrastructure transformation programs.
• Manage budgets, resource plans, risks, governance and stakeholder communication.
• Drive cloud adoption, consolidation and modernization initiatives.

High Availability & Clustering Solutions

• Lead Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and Dynamic Multipathing (DMP) environments.
• Design and govern High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures.
• Lead Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC), SQL Clustering and Hyper-V Clustering solutions.

Virtual Machine, Compute & Storage Management

• Oversee provisioning and administration of VMs, clusters and repositories.
• Manage SAN, NAS, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel and enterprise storage platforms.
• Define backup, recovery and business continuity strategies.

Operations, Monitoring & Incident Management

• Lead major incident management and executive escalations.
• Drive RCA, service improvements and SLA governance.
• Ensure alignment with ITIL Incident, Change and Problem Management processes.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Promote automation using Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Python and REST APIs.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and self-service provisioning initiatives.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers, architects and technical leads.
• Manage executive stakeholders, vendors and strategic partners.

Key skills required:

• Education-Bachelors in Engineering
• 10+ years in Infrastructure Services and Virtualization Platforms.
• 5+ years leading enterprise scale transformation programs and technical teams.
• Oracle VM (OVM)
• Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM)
• VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter
• Veritas InfoScale, VCS, VxVM and DMP
• Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC)
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery Solutions
