We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities

• Review and analyse end-to-end solution design for CBDoC and CBET, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Core Banking Architecture and engineering stakeholders to shape technical direction, standards, and roadmap.
• Drive continuous improvement across performance, resilience, security, and operability (including monitoring and support readiness).
• Lead the team with the rich Core Banking knowlage guide the team with best engineering practices to improve delivery efficiency and solution quality.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineers, supporting consistent engineering practices and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Real core banking solution dlievery experience or data-driven engineering solutions.
• Strong technical background across IBMi tech stack.
• Solid understanding of banking domain concepts, with the ability to translate business needs into robust technology solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across global teams.
• Core banking experience, particularly with HUB (HSBC Universal Bank)
• PMP and/or strong project delivery discipline.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery model.
• Relevant cloud certifications.
