About the role:

We are seeking a motivated associate engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems, leveraging AutoCAD expertise and strong problem-solving and communication skills to support project execution and deliver engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems
  • Create and modify detailed technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD
  • Perform technical analyses and calculations to support engineering decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve engineering problems
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and execution under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and editing technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Fundamental knowledge of project management principles
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and fast-paced environments

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with engineering projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent training
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian engineering codes and standards
  • Experience with additional CAD or CAM software
  • Proficiency in Arabic or bilingual communication skills
