Associate Environment Artist

The Associate Environment Artist is an entry-level individual contributor. You will support us creating, refinement, and delivery of high-quality environment art assets. These assets are for interactive entertainment products across console, PC, social, and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities
  • You will create environment art assets based on established briefs, concepts, references, and project standards.
  • Help us create assets such as architecture, props, terrain elements, set dressing, materials, and environmental details.
  • Incorporate feedback throughout the asset development process.
  • You will implement completed assets into the game engine using established workflows.
  • You will ensure assets meet established visual, technical, and performance requirements with support from senior team members.
  • You will maintain organized source files and follow project naming, folder, and version-control standards.


Reports to
• Senior Artist, Lead Artist, Art Director, or equivalent discipline leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of professional experience in game development, interactive media, or a related field
  • Your portfolio demonstrating foundational ability in creating real-time 3D environment assets.
  • Working knowledge of one or more industry-standard 3D content creation tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
  • Familiarity with texturing and material creation tools such as Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop, or equivalent.
  • Experience with real-time asset creation.
  • A passion for learning.
