Summary: Reporting to the Manager, the Associate will be an integral part of the team’s success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertaking the role of outsourced Finance Officer for WCSME regulated clients in DIFC and ADGM.
- Ensuring that the prudential regulatory returns and relevant notifications for clients are submitted on a timely basis and acting as a point of contact with the regulator.
- Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise finance and accounting policies and procedures for clients to ensure compliance with various finance regulatory requirements.
- Providing day to day support to clients and colleagues in executing regulatory finance deliverables.
- Assist and/or providing training on Regulatory Finance.
- Manage clients’ expectations.
- Attending and contributing to internal meetings.
- Assisting in promoting the firm at various industry and promotional events or producing certain publications.
- Keeping abreast of relevant laws and regulations.
- Commitment to minimum continuing professional development requirements, in accordance with internal and external standards.
- Commitment to continued learning, remaining well-informed regarding internal standards, and business goals/knowledge sharing.
- Responsible for maintaining timesheets daily and are expected to meet certain targets on a weekly basis, as set by management.
- Responsible for maintaining, keeping up-to-date, and accurate client files.

Experience:
- The Associate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance or in Accounting and Finance Consulting (or equivalent).
- An Associate should be well-versed, from within the Accounting and Regulatory Finance space, who can act in a vigorous and independent manner to develop both policy, and culture across the organization.
Education:
Preferably educated to degree standard (or equivalent).
